- yumでのrpmパッケージアップデート方法
# yum -y update
これで最新のプログラムにアップデートすることができます。
自動アップデートを有効にするには
# chkconfig yum on
# /etc/init.d/yum start
# chkconfig --list yum
- yumで稀にTransaction Check Errorが発生します。

このエラーはkdeのポーランド語のアップデートを読み込まない設定にすることによって解消できます。
（ポーランド語を使う場合はこの処置はできません。）
# vi /etc/yum.conf
でyum.confを開き、最終行に
exclude=kde-i18n-Polish*
を書き足します。
または
# yum -y update --exclude=*Polish*
とし、ポーランド語を抜いてアップグレードした後
# yum -y update
としてポーランド語のものをアップグレードできるかもしれません。（未検証）
